1. Acceptance
By accessing or using Sealens, you agree to these Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy.
2. Service Scope
Sealens provides a workspace to support incident investigation through repository and change analysis. The service is intended for professional teams and business use.
3. Access and Accounts
You are responsible for activity performed through your access credentials and for ensuring authorized use within your team.
4. Acceptable Use
- No unlawful use of the service.
- No attempts to disrupt, reverse engineer, or abuse the service.
- No unauthorized access to systems or third-party data.
- No transmission of malicious code, malware, or content intended to compromise security.
5. Customer Data
You retain ownership of your customer data. You grant Sealens a limited right to process data strictly for providing, securing, and improving the service for your own account. Data and feedback signals collected from your use of the service are not shared with, or aggregated across, other customers' accounts without your separate, explicit consent.
Sealens treats customer repositories and related technical data as confidential information.
Where personal data is processed as part of your customer data (for example, contributor names and emails recorded in Git history), the Data Processing Agreement applies and is incorporated by reference into these terms.
6. Intellectual Property
Sealens and its software, branding, and service materials remain the property of the founder or licensors. These terms do not grant ownership rights in Sealens technology.
7. Beta Conditions
The current service is offered as an early access product and may change over time.
- Features can be modified, added, or removed.
- No guaranteed uptime or SLA applies in this phase.
- The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the extent allowed by law.
8. Fees and Future Plans
Early access may be free or subject to custom agreements. Future paid plans, if introduced, will be governed by additional pricing and billing terms.
9. Liability Limits
Sealens provides analysis, risk scoring, and suggested actions (for example, which changes to review, who to involve, or whether to roll back) for informational and decision-support purposes only. Sealens does not take, and is not responsible for, any production, deployment, incident-response, or remediation decision. Your team remains solely responsible for evaluating and acting on any output of the service.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Sealens is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenues, goodwill, or data.
Sealens total aggregate liability is limited to the amount paid by the customer for the service in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim, or EUR 100 if no fees were paid.
10. Suspension and Termination
Sealens may suspend or terminate access for material breaches, security risks, unlawful conduct, or misuse. You may stop using the service at any time.
11. Governing Law
These terms are governed by French law. Unless otherwise required by mandatory law, disputes will be submitted to courts having jurisdiction over the founder place of residence in France.
12. Future Company Transfer
Sealens may assign or transfer these terms and related service operations to a future legal entity created to operate the product. If this happens, users will be notified through a service notice or updated legal pages.
